Location

Our apartment is located in the northern area of Bremerhaven's town centre; located between the River Weser's embankment and the marina, Bremerhaven's major tourist attractions are in walking distance:

• Klimahaus 8 Grad Ost (interactive museum on climate change)
• Deutsches Auswandererhaus (emigration centre) 
• Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum (maritime museum)
• Zoo am Meer (zoo)
• Überseehafen (international port)
• Deichpromenade (embankment promenade)
• Kaiserschleuse (emperor lock) 
• Sportbootschleuse im Bereich des Neuen Hafen (small vessel lock)
• Auswandererdenkmal (emigration statue)
• Technikmuseum U-Boot "Wilhelm Bauer" (WWII submarine)
• Ableger für Hafenrundfahrten und Helgolandtouren (quay for boat trips to Heligoland and harbour tours)

In the town centre you also find:

South of the town centre you find:

• "Schaufenster Fischereihafen" (amusement venue with many different restaurants, cafés, a small theatre and several fairs throughout the year)  

Our holiday apartment "New Port" is easy to reach by car via motorway A 27. 

There are several bus stops at the Columbus Street across the "Mediterraneo" shopping mall and in the town centre. Taxi ranks are also located in this area.
